After the stupendous success of his 'Dasavathaaram', Kamal has already moved on to his next project 'Marmayogi', which is said to be a period-type film set in the backdrop of 8th century B.C. Kamal is said to have approached Bollywood's Kajol for the main lead opposite him in the film. Kajol, who's done a solitary film 'Minsaara Kanavu' in Tamil, has reportedly put some conditions to accept Kamal's offer.
One of the conditions, it is reliably learnt, is that she won't be jetting off to any locales abroad to shoot the film and that the shooting has to be in India itself. She is said to have put the same condition to another Bollywood producer, who is producing 'My Name is Khan' that would bring back the hit and ever-green pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol back on silver screen after a gap of some years. The reason for her condition appears to be her daughter, from whom she can't stay away continuously even for some hours.
Kamal, whose 'Marmayogi' needs to be shot in Switzerland for some days, is in a dilemma and is thinking about the conditions that have been put to him. Meanwhile, Padmapriya too is said to be in talks to play a significant role in the film. Should that happen, this will be Padmapriya's first major venture in Tamil films and will help her goal of achieving the status of a 'frontline actress' in Kollywood.
The latest buzz about Marmayogi is that Kamal is trying to rope in the hottest heroine of Kollywood Nayantara in to the film. If this yet to be confirmed news turns out to be a reality, Nayan would be the only young actress, who has acted with both Rajini and Kamal.
