Sona, who did a small role in 'Mirugam' and has another small in the upcoming 'Kuseylan', suddenly appears to have become the toast of the town, thanks to the hot and steamy posters of her movie 'Pathu Pathu' releasing today. In this film, Sona reportedly dons the role of a promiscuous housewife, who seeks other men to satiate her physical needs. As per the demands of the role, Sona is said to have gone a bit overboard in the 'glamour' department.
Queried as to how did her family members react to her 'hot' stills, a smiling Sona says that she hails from an 'orthodox' (?!) family and that her family, though shocked at first, is now showing more 'understanding'. Sona goes on to add that should the script demands it, she is even ready to lock lips with her co-star, provided that the co-star is Vijay. Sona has a huge crush on Vijay and if the later is willing, she says she is game for some kiss.
Sona, the leading actress of 'Pathu Pathu', is not amused by the tag 'A film without any hero or heroine' that is displayed in the advertisements. She said that she spoke to her director about this and was told that it was intended to appear 'unique'.
With her popularity soaring to new heights, Sona now appears to be the only contender who can challenge Namitha to the title of 'South India;s sexiest actress'!
