Vijaykanth Is Ready With His Next Flick

Engal-Aasan

'Captain' Vijaykanth's next film 'Engal Asaan' might easily be his only film in a career spanning over 25 years, which might not see any bloodshed, somersault-filled action sequences and terrorism-related activities. Director R.K. Kalaimani has set the screen-play in such a way as to strike a chord with the family audiences, especially women.

During the shooting, Vijaykanth himself undertook the job of regulating the crowd that had collected to witness the shooting and the stars in action. Probably for the first time in the role of a Banker, Vijaykanth goes on to explain to them in detail what the Bank holds for the rural populace and for their future well-being.

Even as the Congress (I) is eagerly eyeing Captain's vote-bank and is mulling over a possible alliance with him in the next Assembly elections, the scenes 'holifying' a Bank and its functions might be an indirect message to Finance Minister Chidambaram, assures an industry source.

As a proof of his commitment to the success of the film, it is said that Vijaykanth had completed all his dubbing work in a matter of a couple of days.
