Director Seeman, who made films like 'Thambi' and 'Vaazhthugal' with Madhavan, was waiting to get the latter's nod for his next film. Madhavan, who is very busy in Tamil films with 'Guru Enn Aalu' with Mamta Mohandoss and another film with the slim-and-svelte Sadha and a couple of Hindi films, could neither confirm nor deny Seeman's offer to act in his next film.

Deciding not to wait anymore, Seeman has gone ahead and cast the talented Jeeva as hero. Seeman's story and his style of narration of the film 'Pagalavan' appears to have impressed Jeeva, who immediately gave his nod. An official announcement to this effect might come at any time now. With 'Pagalavan', Seeman returns to 'action' as he did in 'Thambi'.
