Jai, riding high on the success of his 'Subramaniapuram', has signed on the dotted lines for 'Adhae Neram, Adhae Idam' opposite Vijayalakshmi, who starred with him in 'Chennai 600 028' as well. Vijayalakshmi has been very lucky, now that she has been paired opposite none other than the superstar in the animation film 'Sultan: The Warrior' directed by Rajni's daughter Soundarya.
'Adhae Neram, Adhae Idam', looks like a mystery movie but it turns out to be a soft, romantic venture. Jobless graduate Jai falls for college girl Vijayalakshmi and the story is about how Jai gets 'changed' because of the love affair. Directed by newcomer M. Prabhu, the story is said to have been narrated in a 'unique' way (haven't we heard that before?).
Prabhu has reportedly banked more on sentiment than on logic. The film brings together the hit team of Jai and Vijayalshmi from 'Chennai 600 028' and has music by Premji Amaren, who played a significant role in the success of 'Chennai 600 028'.
