'Dishyum' Sasi returns to action with 'Poo'

Director Sasi, who gave a much-needed hit film 'Dishyum' a couple of years ago to both Jeeva and Sandhya who badly needed a hit film to sustain their careers at that time, is now back in action with a soft, romantic film titled 'Poo'. Though Sasi has shot for over 100 days, he still appears a dissatisfied soul about the way the film has shaped up.



The producer Moserbaer, manufacturers of CDs and VCDs, are said to have lined up films like Cheran's 'Raman Thediya Seethai', Prakashraj-Trisha's 'Abhiyum Naanum' and 'Mayilu' up their sleeves for release before they release Sasi's 'Poo', thus providing him with ample time, should he decide to dabble with some changes in the script.

Since 'Poo' is a heroine-oriented subject and has all the makings of an 'award film', director Sasi has made newcomer Parvathi, who plays the lead role, dub in her own voice. Parvathi, a cute-looking bird from the neighbouring God's Own Country, is basically a Malayalee and finds few problems in speaking and dubbing in Tamil for the film.
