It is a chance for Indian students to fly to
Ohio! The University of Dayton and Loyola Institute of Business
Administration (LIBA) are hosting the ‘Mindful Leadership’
competition for Indian students.
Two winners will be selected and they will
get an opportunity to travel to the University of Dayton, in
Ohio, USA, and attend the Redefining Investment Strategy
Education forum, RISE VIII. Co-sponsored by the University of
Dayton and United Nations Global Compact, the winners will also
get a chance to witness and interact with global professionals
during RISE VIII on March 27-29, 2008.
The RISE investment forum brings students,
faculty and leading professionals from Wall Street together to
discuss pertinent issues confronting today’s business leaders.
Redefining Investment Strategy Education (R.I.S.E)
is the first of its kind to bring in global students, leaders
and faculty on to a single forum. At RISE, industry leaders will
discuss Economy, Markets, Corporate Governance and
Responsibility, Political, Regulatory and Legislative Issues and
Leadership Perspective.
Students (undergraduate or graduate) taking
part in the Mindful Leadership competition, have to write and
discuss what it means to be a mindful leader based on the United
Nations Global Compact’s principles of business.
Students interested in participating in the
competition should be between the age group of 18 and 25 and
send their entries in English to udayton@liba.edu as well as
post to LIBA at:
