Inspiring Dance Recital Nandita Neroor, a disciple of Kalaimamani Krishnakumari Narendran, presented her 24th dance recital in the August presence of Miss. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, MP at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium on August 28, 2009. The unique truth about Nandita is that she is dancing with a titanium rod in her back having undergone a major six hour surgery for Kypho Scoliosis when she was seven years old. This 14 year old with a “core of steel” smiles on life and reflects the empowerment of the girl child to such an extant that the chief guest Miss. Kanimozhi said that she herself will henceforth draw inspiration from Nandita.
