Most women in Chennai would be familiar with this showroom 'Dreams Come True' at Prince Plaza, Egmore. It is the journey of one man from a small clothes shop to several showrooms selling accessories.

Dreams Come True, a chain of stores, was started by Rashmikant Davey. He started this venture 8 years back with just one shop, a clothes shop for Salwar kameez and materials.

Later they expanded their showroom and now they have 14 showrooms in Prince Plaza, Egmore. They have turned to be the exclusive sellers of accessories and also cosmetics with 25 staff working for them.

What makes them different is that they have everything from a hair pin to nail paint with a great variety. Some say that they have collections more than a wholesaler!!

Bhavana,daughter of Rashmikanth, says, "There are people who visit our shop every week. Even celebrities buy stuff from us. Actors like Khubhboo, Meena, Sridevi Vijay Kumar and many TV stars come to us." Their collections includes bangles, ear rings, one gram gold jewellery, antique jewellery sets, bridal accessories, hair accessories, bracelets, anklets, rings, toe rings, belts, bags, combs, cosmetics. They also have sequins, lace, and beads.

They have 8 showrooms exclusively for bangles! Whoa! That's a number now! They have bangles from different states. Rashmikanth says, "We buy bangles from all over India. We have glass bangles from Delhi, Mirror work bangles from Calcutta, Stone work bangles made out of mud from Hyderabad, Joodas from Bengal and Ahmedabad, fancy bangles from Gujarat." The price begins from Rs.20 and goes on above Rs.1000

Though their bags section is not vast, they have wallets, hand bags of all sizes, clutches, party clutches, and cell phone pouches. They are priced at Rs.120 for a cell phone pouch to Rs.3000 for a party clutch.
