Is there any foreign cuisine that has captured the Chennai market as much as the Chinese cuisine?  This cuisine will win hands down if there is ever a survey for the popular foreign cuisine in town. From the road side fried rice and Manchurian places to classy restaurants, Chinese food has captured the hearts of Chennaites. Here is yet another restaurant in town that serves authentic Chinese food. I personally know of few lesser known street food corners which makes amazing business as well with their Indianised version of the Chinese food.

Wonton, a simple yet classy Chinese restaurant seems to be happy with serving the authentic Chinese food. Taste of the food and the portions are worth mentioning. When we ordered for more than one starter and main course, we were politely told that the portions will be big and making the right choice will help us enjoy the meal better. The menu had different soups such as Tom Yum, Wonton, Chicken Noodles, and every soup in the menu is worth sipping on. Try out their lemon flavored soup, completely amazing.

Chicken and prawns are available in different options. Try their Dragon chicken and pepper chicken, just out of the world. Chicken pieces in a thick gravy with right amount of spices. The food is yummy and sumptuous.

I must also mention the interiors of this place. A quite restaurant in the lanes of Abirampuram, this place has wall hanging and the lighting to reflect a Chinese mood. This just adds on to the taste of the food served. Thanks to the choosing tips, we had the right quantity of starter and the side dishes complimented the taste of the food served. This place has nothing to that could make it completely different from the other Chinese restaurants in town, the food is delectable.
