Must need to renovate the education system of Anna University....This kind of suicides are unavoidable in Anna University's environment. All the newspapers, staffs are advicing a failed students by telling them to pass in next exam. But In anna University , students have to restudy the failed subjects by joining agin with the junior students. This young girl failed in many subjects... one should imagine how teasing it is by sitting with the juniors to study all failed subjects...Also if she failed in many subjects, she can't proceed to next year...So logically a failed student teased by their own class mates, seniors, juniors, and staffs. Also if a student failed, she is identified as a reservation student, so forward cast and other upward cast people wont allow the students to pass. Don't study in Anna University. Also in anna university, staffs are getting money to allow the students to pass. Please save our innocent young students from these colleges....

I am in line with one of the reader who commented abt this JAYA's treachorous rule. True Tamilnadu is spoiled on different grounds because of this lady and her goondas. Who said these Goondas are not involved in Land Grab issues? Bus Fare Hike is still killing people. She sits prettily in the AC Car and travelling. What sort of lady she is and sort of goondas she is having as her Cabinet People. POOR TAMILNADU PEOPLE. SHD SUFFER FOR THE NEXT 4 YRS.

Using this K-plant, temporarily TN will manage the power cut. But this is not a full recovery solution from power cut. Better TN govt. plan for their own power generation, then only this will be permanent solution for power cut. Otherwise this will continue for this population growth.

It is clear that the idea was to send a clear message to all decoits that TN will not tolerate such acts. It must have send a shiver in the spine of all decoits. But it cannot be justified. Police have to solve the crimes so that people do not think of doing it in TN.

Ever since this filthy AIADMK Govt.took charge, Tamilnadu has gone to dogs. Security lapse, absolutely no control over the bus fare hike, milk price hike, uncleaned garbage all over and not to tell about the ever recurring Electricity problem. Is not the T.Nadu CM ashamed of her Govt.policies? She knows only to arrest the DMK men in the land grab act, posing as if she is against this Sasikala and her men and inspite of all this boasting her Govt.'s achievements. TOTALLY THE TAMILNADU GOVT.SHOULD BE DISSOLVED AND PRESIDENT'S RULE TO BE BROUGHT INTO TAMILNADU. I WONDER WHY NOT HON'BLE PM OF INDIA AND HON'BLE MME SONIAJA GIVE A THOUGHT OVER THIS. DEFINITELY THE TAMILNADU PEOPLE WILL SIGH A BREATH OF RELIEF IS THIS HAPPENS.

she(Jaya) is tell on others like DMK and DMDK and other politicians.. all u know the basic of good leader, she/he must not tell on others. she must concentrate the health of tamilnadu people. but she never do it. so she is not a good leader. All are want to get money, good name thats all. No one really wants to help to the people. So please do not tell on others, help the people or leave the good leader who wants to help the people.. I hope u all understand what I mean. Thank you guys.

Not a Vijaykanth supporter But Kudos to him stood his ground in the assembly thats how it should be . The new Gen doesnt know about the current CM. They just voted now they had it and more raises will come. Karuna is business friendly though corrupt it was the business way and it happens everywhere and we need guidelines to control that .

Mr Vijakant is trying a fast one to attain the interest of the people in Tamilnadu. His sole interest is to steal the limelight. It is not possible for him to do so since he does not have the background to attain the higher echelons in political power. He was on right tract by uniting with AIDMK but the landside victory by JJ put him in the back seat. What business has he got to ask for large scale elections to sort out trivial political in-fighting. He WILL soon trying to become a spent force in Tamilnadu. He is too quick to bring indifferences into the public consumption without trying to work out solutions to underlying causes. It is silly to talk of polls all the time once it is over. He is fortunate to have more MLAs than the sole MLA during the time of DMK. Vijakant is no MGR.

Rich will continue to enjoy anyway they don't use the bus or not bothered to pay extra money for the milk. People voted Jaya back to power not because that she is CLEAN. She is one of the most corrupted politicians of this country. People did not have choice other than the 2 Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu. Jaya's focus now is to keep the DMK in Bay for the next few years such that they should be occupied in attending the court hearings and jails. Jaya paid attention to scrap the extended Metro Train projects, Cleaning of Coovam etc. She again ensured that people should have civic and traffic issues always. Otherwise what will be next poll agenda to her? I am sure Jaya is not going to resolve the traffic woes, power crises or civic problems experienced by chennaities. Instead we voted AIADMK to loot the state for the next 5 years and create the next batch of Goondas

People of Tamilnadu are informed, educated and talented folks. They are far above the average to understand political situations. People are fed UP of DMK mostly on account of family bonded leadership from the family of MK. The needless violence let loose in the State is the work of corrupt politicians waiting in the wings to spring into power hook or by crook. Those days are gone with the new breed of Tamilans who consider self respect more important than to ape to the tales of woe narrated by MK and his sons. Vijayakant should also be taught a lesson by the people for jumping from pillar to post in search of quick succession to the pinnacle of leadership. His party won more seats at the recently concluded State Elections all due to alliance with JJ. He should try to make the alliance work than to jump at the first avilable opportunity to form another alliance with someone else and kick the ladder that helped his party to gain more seats than they deserved. Lot is expected from Dr Ramdoss but he too appears to be complacent at the moment of time. People are waiting for someone to come for real change in Tamilnadu which is the yearning of all the masses.

Now that he is out of power and not even in opposition, he is asking for the release of Rajiv Killers, next will be Afzal Guru should not be hanged and he should be let off and also that Ajmal Kasab should be let off. Since he has no work now, he will also volunteer to escort Ajmal Kasab to Pakistan in his own special chartered flight.

There appears to be another aspect of whether he has some inconceivable differences with the team or team officials.

Whether Jaya should or should not ask for PC's resignation is not the issue. Whether PC knowingly or unknowingly participated in the 2G scam is a legitimate question for tax payers and CBI has the responsibility to investigate. If MU KA is a scientific fraud, PC is a sophisticated fraud. Both must be thrown out of politics.

Whether Mr. Chidambaram should be there or not is another question. But Jaya is do not have eligibility to ask Mr. Home Minister to quit. She is having no. of cases against her and still she is CM, first let she quit the post and then ask for Chidambaram's ouster. The misdeeds done during the course of one's duty doesen't amount to crime unless it is used for his own benefits. Chidambaram has done nothing wrong, atleast tamils should protect him. Only Tamilan is enemy of Tamils.

DMDK as a political party should be thankful to JJ to be in the Legislative Assembley in large number. By virtue of numbers Mr Vijayakant has become the Opposition Leader. He will be measured by his contribution but todate it is a dismal display of lack lustre performance. The ball is squarely in his court to do justice to the lofty position of Leader of the Opposition. He does not have to go far than to see how JJ performed during the time she was not in power. He has adopted a policy to be safe. The warning equally goes to him as well to perform his duties with dignity. A bigger force with education, talent and professionalism are in the wings to replace both the DMK and AIDMK. Mr Vijayakant and those in the fringe with hopes of power in future will be swept by the winds of change which will dawn in Tamilnadu to save the masses from the partisan and intolerable bickerings between DMK and AIDMK than working towards the upliftment of the suffering people.

This is certainly no embarassment neither to the Tamilnadu Government nor to CM JJ. In politics it is common trend. Lets thank that we live in civilized country where the judicary is free and fair. Unlike in negibouring countries the party in power could do anything in favor at their will and pleasure. DMK Government brouhght the Uniform System of Education and AIDMK when they came to power brought-in some amendments. People didnot like it and took it courts and the status quo was upheld. Lets be proud of system we have. AIDMK government is now free to move ahead. They are popularly elected government and DMK a virtually corrupt party should not be allowed to take advantage of setbacks.

It is the right decision taken by dravid retired from one day and 20-20 cricket series. It helps young player to get a chance to international series.
Posted by Rajesh on 09 Aug 2011 07:13 PM
Whether recalling Dravid is a retrograde action or not, it is difficult to tell. But one thing is certain. The so called young talent have been only dancing on the England cricket pitches and not playing cricket. Might be, with the young talent we should hold all matches only in India where the ball will never rise above the knee level. And with BCCI dictating terms to ICC, playing all matches in India can be made a reality. Then we will have all the young talent scoring tons of runs. And we also will have selectors having only a fraction of skill of the proven players, selecting or discarding them as per their whims and fancies.

Cricket is a game and test cricket is far more sophisticated unlike the carnival type of cricket that is dished out in the country which my countrymen are accustomed to witness. Test cricket needs patience and perseverance. Unfortunately most of the Indian Cricketers are bent of easy money and less effort. We are now exposed to test cricket played with mind and soul. It is difficult for our present day cricketers to adjust to endurance as opposed to wild entertainment on top of match fixing.

The amount of devotion to the actor is being criticized in India in other states, never but now I really feel weird as well as angry. Our Tamil youths most largely never care about social problems.Sadly the contribution of Tamil youths, of 18-30 age, to society is null.Binayak sen like activists are least famous among our Tamil youths than any other states. There are poor people, orphans and next generation needing for the help these youths.

If Ms Jayalalithaa is vindictive, what then is Manmohan Singh and Ms Sonia Gandhi who have kept Ms Kanimozhi and Spectrum 2G Raja in Jail? Are they friends? Karunanidhi has said that he has nothing against the Congress but everything against the Media? Has'nt he made a laughing stock of himself. One can't expect such statements from Karunanidhi.

Above all Power Cuts have become worse than what it was during DMK period. this JAYA does not know how to rule. She only knows to waste public money and do not care for the public. People cant forget how she and that Sasikala played havoc during their last regime. PEOPLE CANT BE FOOLED. IT IS TIME THAT THE CENTRAL GOVT.USE ITS POWER TO CLAMP PRESIDENT'S RULE IN TAMILNADU. Is DMK any less opportunistic? Despite putting two of its top leaders' in Jail, DMK's Kalaignar says that he has nothing against Congress and that it is all media creations. Now Dayanidhi Maran is expected to occupy one more cell in Tihar Jail in Delhi to make it a Tihar Munnettra Kazhagam. DMK is sticking to Congress & UPA as it is a SAFETY BAND for them. Is this any less OPPORTUNISTIC. Politicians of today are in Politics not for the "WELL"fare of the people but for their own and for their kith and kin's "welfare".
Posted by Ranga on 30 Jul 2011 06:47 PM
Dragging PM and FM is in order. Spectrum 2G Raja would not have done it on his own, it would have had the blessings of KALAIGNAR as no DMK member how so ever powerful he or she may be cannot open their mouth without the tactit approval of KALAIGNAR. As Congress has not bailed out KANIMOZHI, Kalaignar had no alternative but to trap PM & FM. Also, once Congress kicks out DMK from the UPA fold the whole story of Spectrum 2G Scam will be out within a day?

There is no doubt its none other then DMK&congress they play main role in 2G spectrum scam.these parties lasted our indian peoples money not their own properties and all.we all know that india is made up of 80% of villages and still we are struggling a lot to meet their daily needs,if that 2G scam amount used properly means not only the agriculture problem is solved.many problem which are unknown to many people were also solved in right manner.so people vote for who are kindly welfare and not for terrorist.Jaihind.

It is absolutely necessary and most needed for DMK to have a young, energtic and professionally competent leader. MK has lived his life and he is overwhelmed with his wives and children to cool whatever that is left of him. DMK is not the God given property of MK to decide on its future leadership. He is hell bent to see that Stalin become the heir apparent but he has failed to find that Alagiri is also his son. Why confine the leadership of DMK to MK and his kith and kin. Even though Dayanedi Maran is a close relative of MK, to some extent the Party might accommodate him in view of education and professional comptenence shown as a Cabinet Minister in the Federal Government. If DMK is to be viable force in Tamilnadu Politics a new face in the seat of leadership is the need of the hour. Take a look at the leadership in various parties in the world. Most of the current leaders are young and professionally talented. Why not our leaders both in the Centre and State level should not be like the world norm. MK is a spent force and now bent on spending his mature life in looking after the affairs of his equally matured children.

AIDMK came to the seat of power in May 2011. Understandable initial victory euphoria usually results in the change of guards. Samacheer Kalvi was one such project that came in the focus for retinkering. Irrespective of political leanings education is something closer to heart. Any changes to the status quo was opposed by all and sundry. Now it is legally settled. Jayalalitha and her government must be tall enough to accept the verdit and move forward. Instead an appeal is being rushed in New Delhi. The chances are that the outcome is going to be the same. In that situation what is the reaction of Tamilnadu government. Nothing whatsoever. It is necessary for the State government to learn the basics of in victory and defeat. It is silly to gloat. Please learn to govern and change for the sake of change be avoided. Steering committees of all parties be advocated to bring about meaningful change towards existing legislations. People are prepared to accommodate exuberance that come out of electorial victory but limited for shortwhile. Goverance beneficial to the greater good of the masses will stand good stead towards consolidating electral gains.

People of Tamil Nadu are stupid. They voted for people who stole their money. Are they saints to be good the very next election? When politicians have disclosed their wealth, why not grab the excess amount from politicians of all the parties? Politicians should not be allowed to do any business at all because with their power they can misuse it. Cut down their money making potential then you will see clean government. DMK or ADMK all are frauds.

It is definitely not a sign of DMK-Congress tie ending. Even if all the DMK Party leaders' are arrested they will not break from the alliance as if they break then they will get blasted like two sides of a MRIDANGAM (one side from Amma in Chennai and another side from Super Amma in Delhi). Where will they go then. DMK has refused Ministership as they know very well they will get Department of Statistics, Women & Child Development (Not Kanimozhi Development), Ministry for Non Resident Indians where even one digs in can't rake in any moolah.

As an NRI, I had the chance to visit Bangalore recently and compared with Chennai, it is far more progressive, cleaner, has a good airport, much better roads. Why cant Chennai be like that? I think it can but government officials need to be clean and not steal from the people. If all that money had been repurposed and spent on infrastructure for the state, Tamil Nadu will be much further ahead. We need all the parties thrown out and a fresh of smart, young intellectuals to run the state. Right now, we have film people and thugs running the state - DMK, ADMK and others. They dont know anything about Public Policy or governance or Finance. They are ill equipped for the job. You need people with IAS or intellectuals from Ivy League institutions (many Tamils are in such high places and would be interested in leading Tamil Nadu given the opportunity). Instead we have idiots running the place and taking turns to loot the place. Many of the comments above are disappointing to me because they are still partisan politics and people have to realize both parties are completely and utterly corrupt. Need complete regime change.

i would like to refer one of the comments i read want all the readers to comment on this please It was right to include the matriculation school owners in the review committee because it is them who can pose a clear difference and suggest what has to be changed. Im not saying this as I was educated in a matriculation school, but I felt the difference what matriculation environment made to my career. I studied Hindi in my school, so I am able to travel and do business allover India. Removing Hindi subject from the curriculum is dangerous. Even today the people in the rest of India feel that Tamil Nadu people don't know even a bit of Hindi. This can affect the state's growth indirectly. The difficulty levels of the subject is brought down and this will result in less competitive edge among Tamil Nadu students, both nationally as well as internationally. At a point of time when the Americans are feeling that they need a complex education standards to compete with the world, we are pulling our children backwards. There was no immediate need to change the education system for any reason. The current education system must continue, when there is so much controversies over 'Samacheer Kalvi'.

Dont we have trafic blocks by the common citizens who care less for any trafic rule in the country? Dont you think that the CM s time is more important than the citizens who have to plan and do so many activities in the same 24 hours. Do you think the blocks are exclusive to India only? It is happening all over the world. Why not for our elected leader?

The important thing to note here is that though common syllabus is welcome the syllabus set for the common syllabus pattern is low in standard and moreover, it talks about useless politicians who has done nothing to develop the Country. Students need to compete in IIT/JEE/IIM and other competency examination for which good quality syllabus is required with proper coaching.

It was feared that money and corruption would a play a role in the recently concluded state elections in five states. Irrespective of what happened outside of the precincts, the Election Commission stood as a beacon of true saviour of democracy in the hugh country which is our great India. Anna definitely cannot be Mahatma, when we have our own KALAIGNAR. If at all there is a Mahatma after the father of the nation, it has to be none other than our own KARUNANIDHI followed by Spectrum 2G Raja?

Who ever it is, whether DMK or ADMK, it is wholesale CORRUPTION nothing else. They have mastered the art of swindling the entire Tamil Nadu State. We need educated people, who are not criminals and who do not support NEPOTISM at any time and who are not in for MONEY POLITICS,onlt then can we be proud of our political parties. Unfortunately there are at the moment no political party in India which can claim they are CLEAN (Congress & BJP included). It is the sincere wish of every Indian that India as a whole, should in future enjoy a government which should be clean and where money politics or family politics do not take precedence. God help my GREAT INDIA.

Where is the question of anti incumbency. We had such a CLEAN, TRANSPARENT, HONEST Government in Tamil Nadu for the last 5 years' ably supported by another CLEAN, TRANSPARENT, HONEST CONGRESS. The DMK government also distributed so many freebies from the State Exchequer's ACCOUNT to the people of TAMIL NADU and made them IMPOTENT FIT FOR NOTHING EVEN TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES IN FUTURE. One more term for DMK people of TAMIL NADU will definitely become IMPOTENTS? What is coming out but for holding the CHIEF MINISTER'S office, NOTHING WAS IN CONTROL OF KARUNANIDHI. For his family it was just A FREE FOR ALL. EACH ONE WAS ONTO HIMSELF/HERSELF DOING WHATEVER THEY WANTED. A person of the like of Karunanidhi it is less said the better.

Can some reader in India, Chennaionline or the Election Commission of India give a possible explanation to the undue delay in the tally and declaration of election results despite the use of computer technology. It was in the days of paper ballots, tallying etc.took time. Now electronic voting machines are used and what a mockery to guard these machines on a three teir security arrangement at enormous cost for over a month and thereafter declare the results. With the amount of corruption and malpractices that are prevalent everywhere what is the gurantee that one hundred percent protection is there to prevent tampering. The amount of money that floated in Tamilnadu prior to voting on 13 April, is sufficient proof that anything and everthing is possible. If results cannot be declaried on the same day of Elections like in England, USA and Canada please donot use technology but go in the way it was done with paper ballots. When it comes to boosting we are the best country in the world to be technologically savy but deliverance has no class.

DMK front will win 160 to 170 seats because of the following reasons. (I'am not a DMK supporter) : Good governance. Not even a single major corruption in the state. and all promises were fulfilled. I could see every family benefited by this government : Election Manifesto: People are now believing for the first time that poll promises can be kept as promised. : Campaign was well organized and serious. No where i saw the campaign targeting Jayalalitha and personal attacks. It just explained what they did and asked for votes. Whereas the ADMK front just hurled personal attack on DMK :Vijayakanth hit many self goals and he is going to be the biggest loser in the election. His many acts including hitting the party contender, his comments Half adichaa thaan, asking to remove ADMK flag... etc, personal attacks on Karunanithi family, and his amateurish way of campaigning including displaying lack of good knowledge projected very badly He himself has brought his wife , wife's brother etc . So how can he question family rule. : MDMK votes will come to DMK. Their supporters are out to prove a point for the shabby treatment. : Traditional Govt staff support to DMK. This will never change and is a key factor. :Vadivelu's campaign and personal attacks on the so called "Captain" exposed Vijaykanth completely and pulled in many new voters. :Well formed front. Included VCK and kongu party which will really help DMK front in certain areas. :Karunanithi himself. Compared to Jayaliltha who repeated that corruption and karunanidhi family rule like a parrot, Karunanithi was explained what he did. Jayalalitha could not list anything on what she achieved. : People still remember the old atrocious decisions made by jayalalitha which created numerous problems for the common man. : Star campaign : Vadivelu, Khushboo, and host of personalities. : I donno about this. but DMK is certainly advantageous and capable of giving money to voters compared to ADMK. You know Tamils are sentimental, if they take money, you can be assured that they will vote for the party. : This people may not agree, but Jayalaitha's front itself is a trouble. Look at them Vijaykanth : He looks like very weak now displaying lack of everything. He did not attend the common party meeting also. Communists : They look like a DEAD ANT satisfied with whatever is offered. People are actually fed up with communists which is the trend across India and there is nobody else in the front. People like sarathkuamr, pudhiya thamizhagam etc dont count. I feel the large turnout is basically protect the DMK govt so that they continue with the good governance and also since they are in the center, they could do something well. and finally the hardcore DMK voters feel, this may be Karunanithi's last election due to his old age and he may retire. so they want their leader so they have gone in large numbers to vote. Also all north indian magazines and TV channels except for NDTV say Jaya will sweep the election, which means she will lose as none of the north indian channels understand tamilnadu better and also they hate DMK due to their dravidian identity

DMK party will vanish depending upon the number of seats AIADMK wins and in future it will be a contest between jaya and vijayakanth DMK willtake the third position ,MK has given a green light to his family members to swindle public money as much as they can as he his serving his last term in office as CM.and he dont care who is the next CM . THIS IS THE TRUTH .

The offer of money for votes is a disgraceful and shameful act on the backs of innocent and gullible. The amount of money that floated in all the electoral districts of Tamilnadu is sufficient testimony to the extent of the degrading act. The investment of cash for innocent votes must be stopped. This is a boundant obligation of all the people in Tamilnadu. Politics has become the lucrative pastime of the corrupt and greedy. Money is thrown as bait to make massive amounts through underhand deals like the G Spectrum affair. I strongly appeal to all the leaders from all political parties to make the use of money for votes as illegal. Those caught in these acts should be debarred from politices and public duties for all life time. Punishment must meet the crime to be a deterent for all seeking office in political and public life. I humbly request Chennaionline to devote their good office to make my plea for fair elections a realiality in India.

It will better, if election result come like this...vijaykanthparty dmdk should win more than 35 seats..... Admk should get between 95 to 100.communist 10.i mean admk should not able to form govt with out its allies.and at last dmk should get less than wat dmdk get.... I know very well tis s not possible. Seat nos are not tallying.but my wish is that dmk should loss tis election deliberatly and jaya pride and " cholesterol" should cut down....

It is a crying shame on all humanity to see the amount of money is utilizaed to seek the universal francise of the innocent voters of Tamilnadu. It is not quite important to derive as to who gave the money but it is reasonable to conclude that those in power are in better position to work with the authorities to connive in wrong doing. Giving money whether it was done by DMK or AIDMK is immoral and blatant violation of ethics. This must be stopped at all cost. There is enough corruption in the country G2 Spectrum, Commonwealth games ete.......These corrupt practices are the pillars that support wrong doers to stay in power at the expense of the wealth that is amassed. It is fundamentally important to the highest policy making in the Country that is the Parliament to enact stringent rules and regulations to make it humanly impossible to buy votes at the times of elections be it for Parliament or Assembley. The mere fact of exchange of money for votes is degrading and shameful.

In TamilNadu 2011 Assembly Elections, don't vote for IJK (Indiya Jananayaka Katchi) 1) The Chief of IJK "PatchaMuthu" is neither a social thinker nor a social activist. He has founded the SRM University where only very rich & modern urban youths can study. He makes so much of money but have not even attempted to start a quality school or college for the poor people. But during his election compaigns in the State, he is saying that people are loaded with high educational costs !! 2) IJK Founder does not have the required personality to rule the State. A) He is not even able to make an impact on even 10 to 15 rural audiences during his election compaigns. B) He does not have the required guts and expertize to control rowdyism/mafia groups in the State 3) He is not a Pro-Tamil Person. How can we accept a Chief Minister who has no love for Tamils? He has built a high-class educational institution in Chennai, the capital city of TamilNadu. It is natural for people in the State to expect an opportunity for themselves to get trained in such a world-class institution. But, Patchmuthu denies 80% of the seats to our Tamil Students and reserves them for North Indians & people from other States. If he tries to run such a college in UP, Bihar or anywhere in the world with this rule that opportunity will not be given to the locals, he will be thrown out and the college will not be allowed to function. 4) He is not a social thinker. He could not think about the impact of a change on people. For e.g., he could not see the impact of introducing psuedo cosmopolitan hubs (PSH) in the State. In PSH, common languages (Hinglish) is used extensively in all places and language of the State takes a complete beating. How can we have a CM who don't have even the basic common sense to protect the language of the land. IJK Chief "PacchaMuthu" does not deserve to be the Chief Minister of TamilNadu.

The answer for the question is how each one sees this. If you see it from the Jaundice eye of Karunanidhi election commission implementing the model code of conduct is too restrictive, whereas if you look at it from Ms J Jayalalithaa's perspective it is absolutely in order. If one looks at it thru the eyes of Stalin or Alagiri then again it is too restrictive.

Yes, there is definitely a hope. Anna Hazare has woken up the people of this country to the real issue that Politicians are really looting the country left, right and centre. For the last 3 days' Anna Hazare is sitting on fast unto death in Jantar Mantar in Delhi whilst, DMK Party members and party cadres are getting caught by the Election Commission left, right and centre carrying loads and loads of CURRENCY NOTES. From where is this money coming from. Does Karunanidhi, Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi who was giving sermons yesterday in Tamil Nadu have any answer to this free distribution of largessee? Absolutely atrocious.

Bharath Rathna for Sachin !!? 72% says Yes, really it is a wonder, what he has contributed for the country. He played Cricket for his OWN INTREST and benefit, for which he is renumurated by all means more than what is deserved.Patriotism not ends merely in praising ProfessionalCricketers.
Posted by kvk on 07 Apr 2011 01:51 PM
Bharath Rathna does not meant for OLD AGES.But It means the " Gem of our Nation ".So Age is not important for some grateful achievements. We should Honor & Protect some gems of our nation in the various fields like De fence, sports, science, maths, administration, etc. If they feel any inconvenience to give Bharath Rathna to Young Ages, they can give any equal Status Awards to the achievers. Anyway We will not forget to honor the gems like sachin, viswnath anand and others in the various fields.

sachin can play, thrill, entice people, achieve new highs further fit enough to play for life let him continue PLAYING AND be longest serving team player BHARATRATNA IS NOT THE ONLY FIG LEAF TO HIS CROWN our hearts go for him

MK and DMK are under the mistaken belief that People in Tamilnadu are the same folks who lived in the times when MK was a young man. People in Tamil would have sucked into bribes in the past. That time is gone. Vadivel is trying to evade Tax Authorities and Kushboo is the wrath of all ladies. What good these two jokers could impart on the intelligent people.
Posted by daniel on 05 Apr 2011 09:27 PM
We can't say whether Vadivelu and Khushboo can get votes or not, but, definitely MONEY POWER can get votes. Today Sonia Gandhi and Karunanidhi were addressing the election rally in Chennai and most of the Delhi National Channel Television were showing Election Commission officials impounding a vehicle in Trichy which was carrying Rs.5 crores to be distributed to the voters. The person who was carrying the money was none other than K.N. Nehru's relative (Transport Minister of Government of Tamil Nadu). I am wondering what DMK is projecting itself to be whether they are CORRUPT, ROWDIES, ROGUES, GOONS or THUGS? Pl clarify Karunanidhi.
Posted by Ranga on 05 Apr 2011 07:01 PM
If DMK think Vadivelu and Kushboo save them... It will be a dream.. and Tamil Nadu pupils are not fools..... and all 365 days are not April 1st... We are clear about whats happening... We dont want freebies.. we want corruption less and peacefull state.. can DMK give that...? Never.......
Posted by Thanoj on 04 Apr 2011 05:48 PM
Why don't you change this question to Alagiri's assault on Election Commission officials. Why are you so scared to even talk the truth about these goons.
