After 'Sivaji' AVM has launched its next mega venture ' Ayan'. Surya, is teaming with up the prestigious production house after 'Perazhagan'. The film, a romantic comedy directed by ace cameraman K V Anand. Tamanna, who is going places after her performance in 'Kalloor' which gave her rave reviews is cast opposite Surya. Veteran actor Prabhu plays an important role in the film.

Well, it seems christening films with tamil titles has gone a step deeper with more pure and intense titles on display. After Ajith's Aegan'[Aegan - First look] its Ayan now. It means 'Man of total purity' or 'Outstanding'. The name also refers to Lord Brahma.

Popular writer Subha co-authors story ,dialogues and screenplay with K V Anand. Harris Jayaraj scores the music for the first time for an AVM film and Vairamuthu , a regular in AVM productions is the lyricist. M S Prabhu handles the camera.

The movie will go to floors by May, after Surya completes Gautam menon's 'Varanam Aayiram' which is in its last phase of completion.
