Who is Lord Krishna ?

Who is Lord Krishna ?

Lord Krishna is the charioteer otherwise called the intellect or buddhi. ‘Budh’ Means to be awake. Buddhi is our intellect which is awake and the faculty which perceives the outer world through senses and mind. The main function of the intellect is discrimination using the input from the senses mind and sixth

Sense i.e. analysis of facts or decision making. This is the most precious faculty of human beings which helps him to be successful or a failure in life, of good or bad character, sensible or stupid, practical or impractical, adhering to truth, or falsehood.

Now, comes the question of devotion. Devotion to God is nothing but surrendering to the supreme power , by taming of our mind and senses .Religiousness is conforming to externally seen habits and practices which is like flesh in our body. Spirituality is the inner transformation or essence in an individual due to devotion or duty consciousness. Spirituality is similar to the skeleton of our body which helps us to stand erect. The former is useless without inner transformation, since it may only help in divisive tendencies and caste or religious madness.

Devotion starts only by faith So, let us believe in any form of the supreme power. It can be Lord Jesus, the Allah ,Lord Krishna, or Lord Shiva, or our Parents or Guru .Devotion is characterized by bravery and obedience in alliance with each other to preserve the good traits we are blessed during our birth through our genes But,

Can we excel only with good traits ? It is here , to be a perfect human being we use our intellect which always supports righteousness and the compass always points to temperance if the reins of our mind are truly surrendered to the Almighty, or Righteousness.

Here, Lord Krishna, is the power of intellect ,He is the excellence of the power of true reasoning or otherwise called manasatchi in tamil or conscience . He is true knowledge put into action. paying heed, or being obedient to manasatchi, or Lord Krishna is surrendering to a righteous king inside - our heart of hearts.

True devotion, helps to tame our wild heart .

True devotion adds spice to life, by not controlling the senses, but feeding them with knowledge and joy.

So, for a quick recap of the above passage, we have got introduced to our own intellect which becomes perfect under Lord Krishna, the divine conscience, in all human beings.

  • Gift is Life
  • Life is joy,
  • Joy is in the intellect,
  • Intellect is God,
  • God is Truth.
  • Truth is imperishable,
  • Imperishable Truth is infinite,
  • Infinite devotion is bliss.
