These islands are connected with flights from Tahiti and Moorea. There is a flight leaving every 45 minutes. The airport is on a small island village and there are ferry services connecting the Bora Bora airport with the mainland. Some of the luxuriant resorts offer helicopter shuttle between their property and the island and the airport. Within the mainland, you will find public transportation and taxis although it is advisable to arrange for a vehicle from through the resort you have booked for better convenience.
