Vijay TV a pioneer in bringing differentiated content to the Tamil audiences had launched a youthful and vibrant venture Kana Kanum Kalangal a story revolving around school life and adolescence in the year 2006. This beautiful story about school life with many new faces in the casting had created history in small screen and had gained immense popularity among the viewers.
This recognition of Kana Kaanum Kaalangal had led to the launch of many seasons of this serial. Following the success, in 2011 Kana Kanum Kalangal Kalluriyin Kadhai (K5) was launched on Vijay TV. K5 is all about college life.
Vijay TV recently had conducted an audition in Coimbatore, Madurai and Chennai providing an exciting opportunity for those interesting in acting. Many aspiring actors participated in this audition to be a part of the serial titled ‘Kana Kanum Kalangal Kalloori Salai’ which is to be launched soon on the Channel. Many girls and boys aged between 18-25 took part in the auditions held at the above mentioned places wherein many popular actors like Kuyili, Uma Riaz Khan, Anuja Iyer, Sethu, and Ashok were the panel of judges for the selection.
Amongst the hundreds of young talented participants 29 most talented were shortlisted. They are Jaflee, Anandi, Diana, Rio, Priyadarshini, Arun, Praveen Neethi, Vinodha, Siddhik, Palanivel, Pradana, Harish, Haridharan, Ashok, Sathiya, Kavipriya, Pooja, Praveena, Balaji, Viswakumar. Last week, in Chennai a grand finale was organized by Vijay TV wherein these selected 29 shortlisted young talents were again put through various acting skills on stage to prove their talent. Special judges for this grand finale of K5 Puthiya Mugam were popular Director & National Award Winner Vetrimaran and actor Daniel Balaji. These special judges selected the best talents on view be part of Kana Kanum Kalangal Kalloori Salai.
