A Historic Happening

Such large numbers of people being initiated into powerful spiritual practices is a historic happening. Isha Yoga distills powerful, ancient yogic methods for a modern person, creating peak physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The Isha Yoga program introduces Shambhavi Mahamudra, a simple but powerful kriya, which provides individuals with the tools to optimize all aspects of health, inner growth and success. For those seeking professional and personal excellence, this program is a modern antidote to stress and offers keys for meaningful and fulfilling relationships at work, home and community.

The program is a part of a larger spiritual movement set forth by Sadhguru, called “Ananda Alai – A Wave of Bliss.” In 2010, Sadhguru conducted a series of 17mahasathsangs. Over 10 lakh people attended these mahasathsangs. In 2011, Sadhguru began conducting the series of large-scale programs, andthe “wave of bliss” has become a life-transforming experience for hundreds of thousands of people.

One-Drop of Spirituality

Sadhguru set forth Ananda Alai as a part of his vision to bring onedrop of spirituality into the lives of every individual. The spiritual sciences are the fundamental basis of India’s intricate and profound culture. Developed over thousands of years by innumerable sages and seers, the wisdom of the spiritual sciences gave our forefathers the possibility to enjoy both immediate wellbeing – in terms of material wealth – and ultimate wellbeing or mukti. Ananda Alai is a part of the endeavor to revive this spiritual thread and make the spiritual sciences universally available and easily accessible
