With the divine blessings and spiritual guidance of Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, arrangements are being made at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet for performance of SATHRU SAMHARA THRISATI HOMAM on Shasti day (Wednesday, 28th March 2012) by 10 A.M.

Swamigal has consecrated 4-foot beautiful Murugan idol wherein he is depicted here at the Peedam as KAALAM ARINDHU GNANAN THARUM GNANA GURU KARTHIGAI KUMARAN with 6 Karthigai Pengal at the base of the pedestal wherein each one of them carries the Sun, the Moon, the Lotus, the Peacock, the Javelin & the Milk Bowl used to feed the child.

This homam is being performed as a part of the forthcoming Tamil New Year (Nandana) on April 14, 2012 and Guru Peyarchi on May 17, 2012 for the benefit of human wellbeing and global welfare. The homam is done by a team of well known leared vedic scholars led by Shri Rajappa Sivachariar under the overall guidance of Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal. The homam will be performed with flowers of six colours to worship each of the six faces of the god to overcome the shatripu demons within each of us and fruits, sweets, nivedhyam of 6 varieties are offered to Lord Subramanya. The purpose of this Sathru Samhara Thrisati Homam is that negative forces are destroyed, ailments cured, malefic afflictions by Mars are removed with the blessings of Lord Muruga.
