10,000 Homams - A Rare Feat

Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal’s Danvantri Arogya PeedamGnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal’s Danvantri Arogya Peedam situated at Kilpudupet, Walajapet, Velloe district, is an arogya kshetram, aushada giri, a place of healing to which seekers of all faiths come to pray for good health. Spread on four acres of land, the well planned temple houses more than 50 number of deities who are relievers of pain and misery. The distinctive feature here is, every deity has a rare form and is carved in unique style.

The peedam, being a universal place of healing and Lord Danvantri Himself being the Doctor of Medicines, has no limitations or contradictions based on the perspective of religion, caste, and creed at all. Recently, Swamigal has installed Mahavir, Gautam Buddha, Guru Nanak, Ramana Maharishi and Bharatha Matha at his peedam.

With the divine blessings and spiritual guidance of Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal Lord Danvantri was installed at the Universal Peedam on December 15, 2004, witnessing thousands of people from all over the country. The mandala pooja also was done in a grand manner with thousands of people receiving the blessings of Lord Danvantri and Swamigal.

Homams (Danvantri Homam, Navagraha Homam, Sudarsana Homam, Lakshmi Homam) for the global welfare and for a disease & disorder-free life, soon after the completion of mandala pooja, to be performed on a regular basis on all the 365 days.
